Rococo.
Flying Workshop typically writes series ideas for others to develop into animation or live action programming. But our new series of interstitials, working title Rococo will give us the opportunity to develop an idea from first concept through to broadcast-ready animation. We’re gathering together a skilled team to help with animation, editing, voiceover and character design. With all that expertise, it seems a shame that each episode is only a minute or two long!

The Children’s Media Conference.
Flying Workshop’s team of Nathan Peter Wong, Peter Hilton and Stuart Gibson are planning to attend the 2012 Children’s Media Conference in Sheffield, UK. We’re working on an exciting list of series proposals to share with other delegates. Please contact us if you’d like to meet; we’d love to see you there. Attending the 2009 conference (then known as Showcommotion) was an important springboard and a valuable opportunity to meet others in the industry.

Development Milestone.
Our first show, a series of 10-minute animations, has been optioned by a major European family channel. We’ve been teamed with a talented group to develop the series concept further, with hopes of a pilot in 2012.
